When Jack and Jennie Wildridge, as owners of the Roberts Gallery, first met A.J. Casson in the mid-Nineteen Fifties, their handshake became the classic symbol of their relationship. But it also symbolized the original Roberts Gallery whose family roots have entwined the Toronto art scene for 150 years.
