John David Anderson

John David Anderson has exhibited extensively throughout Ontario. He is well known for instructing art courses at the Haliburton School for the Arts and The Blue Mountain School of Landscape Painting. He has an upcoming Painting Tour in Tuscany this May, where he has guided students for almost 10 years through the Tuscany and Provence landscapes.

“Putting your paintings in a gallery is a bit like being naked in a room full of strangers. Pushing paint around is a personal communication to anyone and everyone that sees it. These are your comments in colour, shape and design that represent you in time. Cézanne, I believe commented that if painting doesn’t begin and end with emotion, its nothing. The light story, the movement of light through a space is my inner resonance is in every piece.

Eliza Kożurno

Eliza is a Polish-Canadian artist based in Toronto. She studied fine arts at the renowned Strzemiński Academy of Fine Art in Łódz, Poland from 1997 to 2002. She has constantly followed artistic pursuits. Not only taking pleasure in painting, but professionally in the fields of haute-couture fashion and artistic jewellery. Through that time her interest has been in elevating commonplace materials through compositions focused on texture, pattern, materiality and colour.

Since 2020, Kożurno returned her focus to her passion for painting, pursuing it full-time. Much as Eliza harmonized materials when creating jewellery and costume, she now meticulously composes still-life paintings with her characteristic eye for colour, texture, and a special focus on how objects and their reflections interact.
