“This show is called ‘Wander’ to reflect the nature of the subject matter. These pieces are a confluence of images that I’ve had floating around over the past 20 years or so. I take so many photos on trips (thousands) that it can be difficult to choose what to paint. I have traveled extensively through the Canadian Eastern Arctic and through Western Greenland, circumnavigated Newfoundland several times and landed in many a zodiac on the shores of Labrador. I’ve also spent many nights in tents in Ontario’s parklands and have enjoyed sunsets on docks throughout cottage country.” – David Marshak
