About the Artist

At the age of 24, after studying cabinetmaking, Martin Brisson decided to pursue sculpture as his career. His passion for wood quickly led him to explore other materials, such as stone and steel, making it possible to install his works outdoors. Martin Brisson spent the early years of his career searching for his aesthetic cues. He trained alongside skilled technicians and artists and traveled extensively. These various encounters helped him find his identity. It was in the mid-2000s that he made his first major contact, which led to the creation of exceptional pieces. He produces works with a unique and bold character, designed exclusively for each of his clients. Over the years, his pieces have been found in various private and public collections. Deeply involved in his region of Charlevoix, he has also participated in the Harmonic Sculpture Garden at Domaine Forget International Music Festival since its opening.
