“Painting flowers was something new that inspired me this summer.
The bright burst of colours in the August light before the cooler days of fall reminded me of the quote by Dylan Thomas “Do not go gently into that good night”

Sharing the vitality of everything you have before the cooler days approach. Maybe it is a metaphor for how one sees the world as time goes on. Keep the bright colours coming and flowing while it is there to share.I would place the paintings on the piano after they were finished. I could then play the piano and observe the paintings while I thought if there was anything I could change.”
